Grand Master Lubomir Yordanov

Founder, owner and CEO of MIBIST Ltd. He graduated from the Ministry of Interior Academy with a MA in Management of National Security and Public Order. He obtained a second degree in law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Captain Lubomir Yordanov served in the system of national security. He completed a course for management cadres at the Interior Ministry Academy. He worked as an employee operating in counter intelligence - Reserve Officer Captain. Has held office as director of security of a defense industry complex. He was head of operational tactical anti-terrorist group. He worked in the protection of the defense industry and the protection of classified information. Captain Lubomir Yordanov has passed professional trainings in the U.S. and Israel; he has organized conferences and courses with U.S., Israeli and English anti-terrorism experts. Captain Lubomir Yordanov is an expert and senior instructor in terrorism and anti-terrorism, police and security training in unarmed, armed and tactical training, banking and corporate security, personal safety and protection. He is a member of IALEFI / International Association of Law Enforcement Instructors/ and ASIS / American Society Industrial Security/. He is a Grand Master - Jeet Kune Do and the Philippines Martial Arts.

 Vanya Yordanova - administrative manager

She has a University degree in pedagogy. She has a background of organizing mass cultural events as Organizer at the House of Culture of the Central Cooperative Union. She managed the Mass Culture department at the Trade Union House of Culture of the Bulgarian trade unions. She has passed professional training in administration, organizing and conducting conferences, seminars and other events.

 


 

 Reserve Officer General-Major Kalcho Taushanov, PhD

Interior Ministry Academy graduate with a MSc degree in Tackling Crime and Protection of Public Order. Second degree in law from the Interior Ministry Academy of MIA. Third degree in Journalism from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Ph.D. dissertation defended in Moscow, doctor of law. Long-time professor at the Academy of the Interior Ministry. He practiced law in the period 1993-1996. Long-time president of the Ministry of Interior Academy . He teaches at the Ministry of Interior Academy, the University of National and World Economy, the New Bulgarian University. He was Security Director at Allianz Bulgaria AD. General-Major Kalcho Taushanov is an expert on police and security training.


 Reserve Officer Colonel Prof. Boyko Ganchevski

He graduated from the Academy of the Interior Ministry with a degree in Tackling Crime and Protection of Public Order. He obtained a MSc in law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. He got a degree in psychology from Moscow State University. He was trained in poly-physiographic research in Russia and the United States. Long-time employee of the Ministry of the Interior. He worked in the economic police. He was Deputy Head of department. Prof. Boyko Ganchevski was Director of the Institute of Psychology at the Interior Ministry in the period 1994-2001. In 1980 he obtained the scientific degree of candidate of philosophical sciences. In 1992 he was awarded a professorship. In 2004 he was confirmed as a doctor of psychological sciences and in 2006 he became professor of psychology. He teaches at the Interior Ministry Academy, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and the New Bulgarian University. He is an expert on police and security training.

 Reserve Officer Colonel Ass. Prof. Georgy Botev, PhD

He holds a MSc Degree in Fire Equipment and Safety from the Ministry of Interior Academy . He specialized in safety economics. In 1988 he defended a PhD degree and became a doctor in Occupational Safety Technique and Fire Equipment. In 1991 he became an Associate Professor in Protection of the Population in Emergency Situations. He passed training in emergency medicine in France in 1992 and in Organization of Management in 1985. He began work in the Sofia Directorate of Police as an expert on fires and accidents. He is a long-time professor at the Academy of the Interior Ministry, where he was head of Department, Deputy Dean and Dean. He teaches at the Interior Ministry Academy, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and the New Bulgarian University. He has taken part in many EU projects and programs. Prof. Georgy Botev is a member of a specialized scientific council on military engineering at the Higher Attestation Committee, member of an expert council on emergency-medical insurance at the Council of Ministers, co-author of over 80 scientific and educational publications and study materials, published in Bulgaria and abroad.

Reserve Officer Colonel Ass. Prof. Nikifor Stefanov

He completed his higher education at the Higher National Military School Vasil Levski, town of Veliko Tarnovo, major Engineer Chemical Troops. He has a master's degree in Warfare from the Military Academy in Sofia. He defended his Doctors degree Ph. in Moscow. In 1987 he became Associate Professor in Radiation Protection. In 2000 he was awarded Associate Professorship in Organization and Management of the Armed Forces. In 1999 Colonel Ass. Prof. Nikifor Stefanov specialized in Strategic Studies Security in George Marshall, Garmish Partenkirchen, Germany. He completed a training in Leadership and Management of Police in Poland. In 2003 he underwent training in Weapons of Mass Destruction in the United States. In 2004 he was trained in Dual-use Goods and Technology in the United States. In 2004 he underwent a systematic approach training of police at the Royal Canadian Horse Police in Romania. In 2005: a course on planning and crisis management with executive level of WMD in the United States. Weapons of Mass Destruction, Operations in Place a course passed in 2005 in the U.S. Another course that he underwent in the U.S. in 2005 was on Discovering Goods and Products with Dual Use. From 2005 to 2007 he was trained for major disasters and accidents, combat WMD, international cooperation and non-proliferation of WMD, physical protection and safe handling of WMD in the United States. He was Dean of the Command Staff Faculty at the Military Academy in Sofia; head of department at the Interior Ministry Academy; Deputy Dean of the Police Faculty at the Academy of the Interior Ministry. 

Reserve Officer Colonel Nenko Doykov, PhD

He completed his higher education at the Higher National Military School Vasil Levski, town of Veliko Tarnovo, major Command Profile. He acquired a MSc in law from Plovdiv University P. Hilendarski . In 2004 he defended his doctors dissertation and became a doctor of national security. Long-time employee of the Interior Ministry. He was commander of the squad for swift action at the boundary troops; Commander of the battalion and Commander of Interior Ministry troops. Since 1999 Reserve Officer Colonel Nenko Doykov is a professor at the Interior Ministry Academy on operational and tactical training and countering terrorism. Author of books and study literature in the field of combating crime and various types of terrorism. Coordinator and compiler of scenarios matrices and joint anti-terrorism exercises. Has completed courses in various programs and projects with experts from the United States, Israel, Poland, Germany, Britain, France, Spain, Russia.

Reserve Officer Major Svetoslav Zanev, PhD

He obtained a Masters degree and a Doctors degree in Philosophy from Sofia University Kl. Ohridski. He specialized in poly-physiographic research in San Diego , U.S.A. From 1992 to 2005 he worked at the Interior Ministry as a psychologist at the Institute of Psychology. He was Deputy Director of the Institute of Psychology of the Interior Ministry. Major Svetoslav Zanev is author of books and scientific publications in the field of applied psychology in the law enforcement sector. He has participated in joint projects with partner offices in Europe. He is an expert in poly-physiographic research, test research, psychological training of police and security officials.

Reserve Officer Colonel Plamen Popov

He has a Masters degree in law from the Interior Ministry Academy. He specialized in bank security in Austria in 1995. He is a long-standing official of the Ministry of Interior. He has held office as Head of division in a Regional Police Department; Head of Protection of Public Order department in a Regional Police Department; Head of Security department in the Metropolitan Police Directorate; Head of Information, Analysis and Planning department in Sofia Interior Directorate; Head of the National Bank and Security Unit division. Since 1999 he has been a professor of Police Law and Guarding Public Order at the Academy of the Interior Ministry. Colonel Plamen Popov is an expert in security training.

Reserve Officer Colonel Lyudmil Georgiev, PhD

He graduated from the Academy of the Interior Ministry, Department Police. He acquired a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Sofia University Kl. Ohridski. He specialized in crime studies in Russia and passed a professional training for operators working with video equipment at the NATFA K. Sarafov in Sofia. In 2000 he defended a doctoral thesis in law. He is a long-serving employee of the Ministry of the Interior with over 25 years experience. He was a patrol officer, investigating officer, expert crime officer, police spokesman, chief inspector in the unit for protection of bank transfers, professor of crime studies at the Academy of the Interior Ministry; Head of Crime Studies department at the Academy of the Interior Ministry. Colonel Lyudmil Georgiev is a crime expert at Sofia City Court. He is author of scientific publications and a journalist, author of 6 books and co-author of other 7, as well as author of screenplays for feature films made after his books. Founder and editor of the Sleda electronic newspaper of the Academy of the Interior Ministry.

Reserve Officer Colonel Pencho Damyanov

He completed his higher education at the Higher National Military School Vasil Levski, town of Veliko Tarnovo and served long-term in the Bulgarian army. He was Commander and professor at the School for reserve officers in the town of Pleven. He was Head of the Firing Training Department. He worked as a security manager in a large security firm. Colonel Pencho Damyanov is a firing expert trainer and an expert in tactical training and security training; licensed master of firearms.

Dr. Krassimir Histoforov

A graduate of the school for reserve officers. He obtained a degree in Medicine from the Higher Medical Institute in Pleven, specialization in Internal Diseases. He further specialized General Medicine and worked as a general practitioner. Dr. Krassimir Histoforov is a specialist in tactical training for unarmed security guards and police officers. He teaches emergency medical aid to law enforcement officials from the sector. He teaches also Applied Psychology to bodyguards.

 


Senior instructor Stefan Tonchev

Service in the military air forces. He has completed courses in pedagogy at Veliko Turnovo University and management courses at Varna Free University. He worked as an officer in the military police. He has held various positions in the private security sector. Instructor in unarmed tactical training, instructor in armed tactical training and use of auxiliary security devices.
